THE FIRST STEP Receives Global Music Awards Silver Medal

Joseph T. Spaniola’s composition, THE FIRST STEP (Bassoon and Orchestra) received a Silver Medal from the Global Music Awards in the Composition/Composer category. The composition was recently released on DIMENSIONS Vol. 5 (Navona Records) and recorded by Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava (Czech Republic), Radek Joska, Bassoon, and Stanislav Vavřínek, conductor. This is the tenth Global Music medal for Spaniola. Global Music Awards is “a top-tier music competition that honors talented musicians around the world.
